Dr. Fujia Chen

Dr.Chen has an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College, London and a PhD from Oxford University. She is a specialist in materials structure for aeronautical applications. After going on to study at the Saïd Business School,Oxford, she received international recognition for her work on technology transfer in consumer products...and all that before her third birthday!

Julian Jantke

Julian studied Economics at The University of Konstanz and worked at the European Parliament. He has an MSc in International Human Resource Management from Oxford University, specializing in Business & Financial Operations and Start Up finance, evaluation & scalability. To date he has been a founding member of a number of start-ups which continue to go from strength to strength. When he’s not working on ‘a little bit brilliant’ he likes to make a big mess!

Dr. You Zhong

Dr. You Zhong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Science at Oxford University. He has a PhD from Cambridge University and has received numerous academic awards for his innovations in folding structures. He is also the father with an energetic 6 year old. On his days off he loves building dens… geodesic folding dens of course.

Benjamin Parton

Ben has a First Class (Hon) Degree in Graphic Design from KingstonUniversity, and a Masters, with Distinction, in Product Design from The Royal College of Art, London, where he also received a Fellowship for innovation. He is a University tutor in Graphic Design and has over 15 years experience in Graphic Design, Branding and 'above the line' advertising and has five patents and counting. To relax he likes to do finger painting!

Ben Gordon

With a career that started at L'Oréal, Ben Gordon moved on to WH Smith, Asia Pacific and The Walt Disney Company, where he oversaw 150 stores. When he joined Mothercare in 2002 he completed a turnaround that saw Mothercare’s share price rise from 96p to a high of 690p 2010 leaving the following year. He has been an Independent Non-Executive Director at Britvic PLC since 2011.

Tom Singh

Tom Singh is one of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs and investors. He founded the New Look chain of women’s fashion stores in 1969 with a single store in Taunton directly after university. New Look is now one of the UK’s best known fashion clothing retail brands with over 1000 stores worldwide. Tom is currently a Board Member and Commercial Director responsible for Buying, Merchandising and Design. He was awarded the OBE in 2006 and in 2011 became the majority stakeholder in the retail chain JoJo Maman Bébé.
